In addition to my regular leadership blog, I offer “Thursday Thoughts” – simple truths for reflection and food for thought.
Another take on your title that I have asked of myself and others in workshops is “are you a leader worth following?”
Once we have established a safe relationship and space in which to have reflective conversations, I have used this question as part of our dialogue with staff to help me shape my own professional self development as a leader. Thankfully my staff were gracious enough to be unadorned honesty. My belief is we as individuals are never the finished article, we constantly evolve. And in my experience who we are is how we lead
